As the busy M4 motorway rumbles above – this grey underpass below greets people each day on their travels around Cardiff’s Taff Trail.
So take a huge slab of concrete and four local artists to help brighten up this popular thoroughfare.
Based between the Radyr and Whitchurch areas of Cardiff – local artist Unity / Millimagic painted her traditional Unity name and B-Girl on the concrete structure.
Joining Unity was another local artist – Miller Elliott who also painted in similar colours and ended his piece with a small character too.
Whilst the six lanes of traffic zoom by above the waves of cyclists and runners below pass the street art that appeared here in January 2019.
To the left hand side another Cardiff based artists, Jams, has added his handiwork to the daunting concrete facade.
Completing the quartet of artists is Bristol based Mr Draws who has painted a warmer mountain scene complete with a character sat on a chair exclaiming ‘this is fine!’ – so chilled!
The Taff Trail runs alongside the River Taff from Cardiff upto Brecon with lots of street art to spot on the way.
It’s always great to see further additions to brighten up the route.
