From a distance everything may appear normal but moving past a tree that had fallen during the recent winds and some bright red lipstick seems to have been added to the Rmer piece in Sevenoaks Park.
On closer inspection it appears that two red dots have been added to the eyes and some red lipstick to the character that Rmer painted in July 2018.
Lots of additional text and remarks have been added spoiling the ambience of the original artwork which can be viewed on the link below:-
The sentiment of the text seems to bounce around the subject of death, mental health and whether anyone has any cigarettes?
Other subjects pay tribute to all fallen soldiers and the colour yellow.
The adjacent work by Hoxe had also attracted a few amendments with people spraying in red and pink ‘Nice day’ and the profound
‘Everyone says trust in God – I didn’t know your Mum was God’
There’s more text from a wide range of subjects including:-
‘Your eyes only think this is here – you are wrong’
‘Graffiti is only illegal if you get caught’
Nestling at the same end of Sevenoaks Park was a massive collaboration featuring a whole host of artists including Amok, Loop Colours and Chizl.
This has also gained a few extra words of wisdom:-
‘When you’re at death’s door – knock it.
See who answers.’
