Saw it first at Upfest!

UPFEST 2018: Saw it first advertIt was the 10th anniversary of Europe’s largest street art and graffiti festival where over 400 invited artists took to the streets of Bedminster in Bristol to take part in the Upfest.

It was amazing to see so many walls were given over to act as giant canvas for the artists to paint but also what else they found in the city to adapt too!

One billboard just off the main street has already created controversy for its content so was prime for some additions during the two day festival!

A few paste ups by Smiler and some spray cans were added early on to the billboard advertising the ‘I Saw it First’ clothes website.

But it was on the second day of the festival that some extra letters were added to their company name along with a few subtle stickers.

Elsewhere a few gorillas were spotted around the Upfest locations including this one doing a spot of grass cutting with a gold lawnmower!

Whereas another gorilla was located in front of a National Lottery billboard, sat on a toilet holding a placard with:-

‘We’ve updated our privacy policy to be more transparent’

Opposite the Upfest gallery there was a billboard where there have been many crafty additions in previous years – so this year a white sheet was placed upon it and the text added:-

The best things in life aren’t things!
