The very first Cheltenham Paint Festival took place over the weekend at the start of September in the Westcountry spa town.
Around 70 artists descended on the town to work their magic on venues such as the North Place car park and the lower High Street.
Battling the weather conditions and also the Tour of Britain – mass painting continued throughout the weekend in a variety of locations in the picturesque town.
A dis-used railway line had a complete makeover where shelter in The Honeybourne tunnels made it very popular whereas all the iron bridges that lined the route of the old Honeybourne Line had to take shelter many times during the day waiting for the heavy showers to pass.
Pictures to follow.
