Hailey Park nestles between the River Taff and the high street of Llandaf North in Cardiff.
A small path connects the high street to the park and has previously been a mecca for street art and graffiti over the last ten years.
The Tactile Bosch/The Boiler House building has already been demolished and it was time for the last few buildings to face the same fate aswell.
A housing estate has already been built on one side whereas a range of town-houses and apartments are planned for the high street side.
The range of large red bricked buildings and corregated metal workshops are no more – over the years they have sported some striking pieces of work from a range of local artists and graffiti writers.
Demolition is almost complete which means new hoardings surround the current building site – resulting in loads of blank canvasses for some new artwork.
A whole host of artists had turned up to paint at this location including Amok, Resh and Rasp to name a few.
At one end near a small gulley is work from Unity aka Millimagic and this chilled woman in pink.
And as the old makes way for the new it’s great to see some new talent featuring on the walls at Hailey Park. Da iawn!
