A whole host of posters have recently been appearing on facility boxes in Cardiff – trailing a route between Wood Street and Wells Street in the Riverside area of the city.
Predominently black print on white paper each poster features a person and an empty speech bubble – inviting anyone to fill in their response.
Here is a blank one just behind The Abacus off Wood Street.
Moving from Wood Street and onto Tudor Road bridge where a few more examples are pasted onto the facility boxes.
Further into Lembo-land and the cat sticker territory of Riverside where more posters are attached along the pavement. (Do they really need that amount of bins on that small stretch of road?)
Most comments added seem to feature anti Facebook, internet and 3g themes. It’s not certain whether they were pasted up blank and members of the public have added their comments or whether they were by the artist themselves!?
Going off the main road a bit and heading towards Wells Street and more posters are plastered all over the facility boxes along the street with most here containing blank speech bubbles.
A really interesting concept for art in Cardiff and hopefully all those speech bubbles will be filled in soon!
