My favourite paste of time

A wander around the back streets of London always unearths some great street art but it also unearths some wheat pastes, paste-ups and stencils too.

Two main hotspots for this type of work are Blackall Street and the lanes just off Brick Lane. Below are a selection from these areas featuring artists like Mr Farenheit, Monsu Plin and Mr Hambre.

A wide variety of work was found some featuring bastardised versions of celebrities whereas other artists opted for more abstract characters.

Some black and white work that kept popping up everywhere were these everyday scenes depicted by Roman Lokati

My work shows an attempt to link communication, body language and expression in order to explore the relationships between people who are in apparent isolation throughout their daily lives – Roman Lokati

On each visit to these walls the most common work is usually by D7606 and Mr Farenheit – here are a few more examples from these guys!
