Zed1 is an Italian street artist born in Florence whom has recently brought some Italian flavours to the capital city of Wales.
He stopped by in Cardiff after being invited to take part in the Empty Walls Festival.
The month long festival aims to bring colour, culture and vibrancy to the city with artists travelling in from Germany, Italy, Montevideo, Spain and France and closer to home from London, Bristol and Cardiff too.
Zed1 took a few days to add this piece to the side of Porter’s bar opposite John Lewis in the city. He titled it “Love Your Master” but later added the suffix via his Facebook page:-
Love Your Master (Fuxx your master)”
Here Zed1 has painted in his signature illustrative style of characters featuring a man and a horse – but what are they getting up too? #ponder
On first inspection it looks like just a bit of horseplay going on but infact the large mural features a man knocked onto the floor being pursued by an amorous horse. (His helmut has also come off!)
There are love hearts above the animal, a slobbering tongue and what can normally only be seen in ‘Animal Farm’
This has turned into quite a contraversial and humourous piece with reports that some members of the public have complained about the nature of the art and also about a certain part of it too! #animalinstinct
