Kera is a German graphic designer and street artist born and living in Berlin.
Kera has been painting street art for over ten years and has developed his style to be bright and bold featuring geometric forms and patterns.
He arrived in Cardiff to take part in the Empty Walls festival held in the Cathays and Roath areas of the capital.
The event invited 12 local and international artists to transform the streets of Cardiff to bring colour, culture and vibrancy to the city.
The white-washed building sat at the end of Croft Street, located near a small church and ‘Early learning centre’
The totally blank canvas was covered with strong vibrant colours in a variety of shapes and patterns – spin it 90 degrees and you can see a set of stairs leading you through the piece.
Kera also posted some photos of the original design and some progress pictures on his Tumblr feed:-
