Sat previously in this location was this fantastic ‘Marbles’ piece from Colour Doomed but it wasn’t respected properly and ended up like this.

So Colour Doomed was joined by two other artists to create something special on this vast breeseblocked canvas – step forward Joy and Ekstraternek.
In the back lanes off City Road in Cardiff is an alley which is no stranger to street art and here the artists have all added characters in their own unique styles on a fruity vibrant purple backdrop.
Joy has added these marsupial type animals to the centre of the piece – love the signature!
Then artist Ekstraternek has added some well ummm how do I actually describe them…. well sorta screaming faced goo-ey things in boxes (yes that’ll do!) The three boxes house a few sharp teethed characters with pipes connecting the boxes and eventually discharging with hands at the bottom.
So much detail and things to unearth in this piece – just like the faces in the thumbs of the gooey hands!
It’s all brought together with numerous birds flying around the scene too.
And then Colour Doomed has added two characters on the right of the piece – a male figure set rather close to a skeleton.
A few of the goo-ey faces interact with the skelton and some goo drips down the skeleton frame.
