Roxejam 2010 held in Cardiff.

The RoxeJam was originally set up in 2007 by Lou Lockwood as a memorial to her son Bill(aka Roxe), who had died in a road accident.

It’s a 2 day free event held at SevenOaks Park in Grangetown, Cardiff bringing together all elements of hip hop culture and graffiti with support from Cardiff Council and The Arts Council of Wales amongst others.

The main highlight of the RoxeJam is the huge 140m graffiti art wall which is decorated yearly as a collaboration between graffiti artists from the local area and from across the whole of the UK. The massive piece of art is the centrepiece to the whole weekend.

A few days prior to the event all the previous artwork was painted over with black paint ready for this year’s creations. I think i’m right in saying that these are the best, most colourful and of the highest standard yet to grace these walls! You can click any image to view at its full original size.
